There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. Always.
What are you thankful for?
It might be small, it might be huge, it might be something that most of us take for granted.
The key is recognizing how different things would be without that thing you are thankful for.
For all of us here in the US, Thanksgiving is just days away.
I, like so many of you, am in the throws of planning my menu, shopping (and trying NOT to forget anything) and getting ready for out of town guests, all while having my master bathroom remodeled. It was supposed to be done Monday. It is sooooo not going to be done Monday and probably not the Monday after Thanksgiving either.
I am thankful I get to stress about these things!
If I hadn't found that lump in 2015 _______. Feel free to fill in the blank.
I am thankful I found it. I am thankful for the amazing treatment plan that cured me. I am thankful for every single mundane daily detail I get to have that I might have missed out on.
Be thankful for each day. Be thankful for the people in your life. Be thankful for the opportunities you have, and be thankful for any negative you can turn into a positive.
Do your self exams. Schedule your mammogram. Tell someone who matters to you to do it to.
Come back tomorrow to join us for a new Encouragement Challenge!
